Detailed Description

Test-only helpers that initialise/finalise yaxt directly, bypassing YAC's internal yaxt bookkeeping.

Multi-instance MCI tests (and processes that never call yac_init) have to initialise yaxt themselves on the global communicator; see the assertion in yac_yaxt_init (src/core/yac_mpi.c). These wrappers let the Fortran tests do that through the yaxt C API, so that YAC itself does not depend on the yaxt Fortran bindings.
